Hey people, it's been some time since we've been praying (pH4:6) for our church and also for saltshakers! Remember, prayer is an important spiritual tool God gave us! And we are truly blessed to be able to speak to the One true living God!
Some possible prayer pointers:
-unity of Saltshakers in God as we have fellowship each week. =)
-a growth of passion for God's presence and knowing Him in our lives
-a close and sweet walk with Daddy God each day
-a heart desiring to read and respond to His Word
-for joy and diligence for you guys since the school term is just starting again
-good rest for yourselves
-peace in God

Some of them may overlap, but I guess each of us are at different stages of our walk and maturation in God, so yeah =). You of course pray for things that you are burdened for. Feel free to blog here about them.

Just want to share something I've learnt recently.
From Luke 8:4-21
The gist of it is about growing as a follower and child of God.
Reading His word with a "good and noble heart", and "keep(ing) it" will give rise to us bearing fruits with patience.. (v15).
Then it goes on to say that we should not hide God's word, for it benefits the people around it. And it is paralled with light.
How we respond to His word is important. If we do respond to Him in a humble manner, with a heart of learning, and a desire to be moulded by God, more will be given to us. But the one who does not respond to His word, even what he thinks he has, he will lose. I can't exactly pinpoint out what is the thing we will lose and be given, cos' it can vary in many circumstances? But all in all, be sure that God will guide us with His word in our every path when we acknowledge Him. (Prov3:5) In His love you will abide.
